Call for applications - The Dean of the University of Pécs, Faculty of Pharmacy is calling
for applications for Undergraduate Research Society essay.
The competition is open to students who have been members of the TDK for at least one year (certified by their supervisor in the register). The topic of the competition can be a topic previously announced by the educational institutions, or a previously unannounced topic proposed and accepted by the student's TDK supervisor. The thesis presenting TDK activities can be experimental (especially advantageous), but it can also be the result of clinical or literature research.

the thesis, which can be found on the website below.

The Dean's essay must be submitted in two copies (bound or paper-bound copy) until the
deadline, October 22 (Thursday), 2026, 14:00 p.m., to the GYTK Dean's Office (Rókus u.
2, GYTK Building K, 1st floor). Unbound (or not paper-bound) thesis cannot be accepted. It is not possible to submit a Dean's essay as a co-author.
The results of the Dean's essay will be announced after the closing of the judging period and at one of the GYTK TDK events.
The award-winning Dean's essay can be accepted as a thesis, thus if the author of the thesis held a presentation from his/her essay topic at an Undergraduate Research Society conference and won a prize (first, second or third prize), the author does not have to defend the thesis, it is automatically graded excellent. However, in the absence of a presentation, the thesis will be defended at the department, so that the student author can demonstrate his/her ability to debate on the topic.
