A delegation of faculty members from the North China University of Science and Technology visited the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Pécs.
The guests participated in a professional conference in Pécs and combined their visit with efforts to strengthen cooperation and build relationships between the two institutions.
During the visit, the parties held discussions on future opportunities for collaboration, with a particular focus on developing research and educational partnerships, as well as establishing student and staff exchange programmes. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for participants to learn more about each other’s educational and research activities and to explore possibilities for joint projects.
The visit also contributed to strengthening cultural ties between the institutions. The delegation presented the Faculty with traditional Chinese gifts, including a traditional Chinese hand fan and an aroma lamp containing essential oils prepared according to the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. In return, the Faculty of Pharmacy expressed its appreciation for the visit by presenting the guests with the Faculty’s signature tea and commemorative gifts.
As a closing event, the delegation, the leadership of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and representatives of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Pécs continued their discussions in a more informal setting during a joint dinner in Villány, further strengthening the emerging professional relationships between the institutions.
