Outstanding Performance of Pharmacy and Biotechnology Students at the 2025 TDK Conference

Yesterday

The 2025 Students’ Scientific Conference (TDK) jointly organized by the Medical School  and the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Pécs once again demonstrated the vibrancy and inspiring atmosphere of the university’s research community. Over the course of the three-day event, 210 presentations were delivered, including contributions from 15 secondary school students, reflecting the growing interest in scientific research at an increasingly early age.

The conference featured 33 sections, covering a broad range of topics from basic science to clinical studies, pharmaceutical sciences, and molecular biology.
Students from the Faculty of Pharmacy achieved outstanding results, not only within pharmacy-related sections but also in several sections traditionally associated with the Medical School.

The award-winning projects reflected high scientific standards, strong research motivation, and sensitivity to current scientific challenges. Many students chose topics related to contemporary issues in drug development, pharmacology, molecular biology, or biotechnology—once again showing that young researchers at the faculty are actively seeking answers to future healthcare challenges.

The achievements were supported by the committed work of supervisors, teachers, and researchers who provided essential guidance throughout the students’ scientific projects.
We extend our sincere congratulations to all award-winning students and their supervisors.
