The recent two-day trip to the Viatris Pharmaceutical site and Aeropark Aviation Museum organized by the Cholnoky College was both highly educational and a truly enjoyable experience. It provided a wonderful opportunity to explore pharmaceutical operations while also taking in some fascinating local logistics.
Our trip began in Budapest with an engaging visit to the Aeropark Aviation Museum. We had a great time watching the airplanes take off and land while learning about the detailed workings of the airport. Afterward, we visited the Viatris facility in Budapest, where we explored the administrative, packaging, and shipping departments. The day concluded with a relaxing evening at the accommodations provided by the Cholnoky Foundation, giving everyone a chance to relax and socialize.
The following day, we traveled to the Viatris site in Komárom. We had the opportunity to observe their quality control and quality assurance processes, as well as the drug packaging facility operating under strict, sterile conditions. It was incredibly impressive to see the shipping department and watch how seamlessly all the different facilities function together in perfect harmony.
A standout aspect of the visit was the Viatris staff. They were exceptionally kind and welcoming, ensuring that all visitors, including the international attendees, felt completely welcomed.
